Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

3-day free trial · cancel anytime · 14-day refund on web (via Paddle).

Moat ("we") offers an optional Premium subscription. This policy explains how the free trial, billing, cancellation, and refunds work for both web and iPhone purchases. It applies alongside our Terms of Use.

1. Free trial

Premium begins with a 3-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription automatically converts to your selected plan — $12.99/month or $59.99/year — and your payment method is charged. You can cancel at any point during the trial at no cost.

2. Web subscriptions (Paddle)

For subscriptions purchased on this website, our payment provider Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) is the authorised reseller and merchant of record for AI Plus, the developer of Moat. Refunds are therefore governed by Paddle’s Refund Policy, and we honour that policy in full. You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or of a renewal charge. Where local consumer-protection law (for example the EU/EEA/UK statutory withdrawal right) or Paddle grants you stronger or non-waivable rights, those higher rights always apply.

How to request a web refund

Email support@auth-2fa.cloud from the address on your account, or contact Paddle Buyer Support at paddle.net. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to your original payment method. We never see or store your card details — Paddle handles the entire transaction.

3. iPhone purchases (Apple)

Subscriptions purchased on iPhone or iPad are sold by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms, and refunds must be requested through Apple — not through us or Paddle. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Moat charge and choose Request a refund. Apple reviews each request under its policy.

4. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel anytime — there are no cancellation fees. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for, after which your account returns to the Free tier. Your existing 2FA codes always keep working and stay encrypted on your device.

5. Need help first?

If something isn't working as expected, please reach out before requesting a refund — we're happy to help. Email support@auth-2fa.cloud and we'll do our best to make it right. Please don't include any secret keys or passwords in your message.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
